[25 May 2009] Cylcone Aila [PART-III]
Cylcone Aila hit 14 regions on the south-west bank of Bangladesh on the 25th May 2009. It was the second significant blow for the locale in under two years: huge numbers of these territories were all the while recouping from the impacts of 2007's Cyclone Sidr when Aila struck.
The tornado brought on :
190 quick passings
wounds to 7,103 individuals
harm to 6,000 kilometers of streets
more than 1,700 kilometers of dikes to fall
more than 500,000 individuals to end up destitute
complete annihilation of 275 elementary schools and harm to 1,942 schools
